Today is a beautiful day in the mountains. Check out the forecast, click here. Our Linville vacation rental is among the best in the High Country.
The Blue Ridge Mountains form a pathway through western North Carolina, creating some of the most beautiful vistas in the eastern US.
Camp Creek Cabin is a great base camp from which to branch out and explore this stunning area. The large front porch is a shady place to rest and breathe in the mountain air or relax in the hammock as your stress melts away. It has an outdoor table and chairs to enjoy a meal cooked on a charcoal grill. Later you can light the wood burning fireplace, in the living room, and recount the events of the day.
Camp Creek Cabin features 2 bedrooms with full size beds, a full size sleeper sofa, a fully stocked modern bathroom with shower, and a comfy living room. It also includes a modern, eat-in kitchen with microwave, electric stove and refrigerator and double cast iron enamel sink, but no dishwasher. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Our cabin also has hardwood floors and wormy chestnut paneled walls making the cabin as warm and snug as your own home.
The large covered porch is a wonderful location to dine while listening to the soothing sounds of Camp Creek as it tumbles by. From the side yard it is a short stroll to the Linville Falls picnic grounds. The picnic area is a peaceful, paved surface to take a leisurely after dinner walk.
A short drive takes you to parking lots with trails leading to Linville Falls and Linville Gorge in the Pisgah National Forest. We are conveniently located 2 1/2 miles driving from the entrance into the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Our secluded cabin is located within a short drive to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Boone, Linville Caverns, Tweetsie Railroad, and Blowing Rock. We are about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Asheville.
Steps away from the front porch are prime trout fishing spots on Camp Creek and Linville River. Camp Creek is a wild creek featuring Brown and Rainbow trout. Linville River is stocked with trout from local hatcheries from spring until fall by the North Carolina Fish and Game Commission. After a day of fishing, hiking, or touring it is such a treat to return to the solitude of your own private cabin.
